A personal project to help my parents and several others' who aren't very good
at remembering doing some important routine things like taking medicines at the
right time.
Standard notification/alert based reminder applications work for the techies and
the nomophobes. While those applications are still relevent, a large group of
people like my parents don't rely on their mobile devices for organinzing their
routine tasks which more often than not results in them missing some of the very
important routines such as taking medicines.
*Talking Reminder* aims to solve this problem by allowing a concerned person in
the family (like myself) help them manage their reminders. We'll be achieving
this by hosting the user data on cloud which users can access post login into
their account. A user will also be able to send reminders to other users.
Since elderlies don't check their phones ferquently, poping a notification is
not ver useful. This problem can be solved to a great extent if instead of a
ringtone, the app repeatedly states the task itself.
